Analysis of physical and mental predispositions of future foresters

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo zpracování analýzy tělesných a mentálních predispozic budoucích lesníků na základě dat získaných od probandů. Následné zpracování a vyhodnocení umožnilo teoretické doporučení pro budoucí zaměstnání probandů v oboru lesnictví a zjištění, které predispozice je dobré mít pro danou profesi. Za účelem získání dat byli podrobeni měření studenti oboru lesnictví. Výzkumu se zúčastnilo celkem 41 probandů, kteří byli podrobeni dle etického hlediska daným vyšetřením a měřením antropometrických údajů, jakými byly tělesná hmotnost, výška, BMI, Brocův index. Dále měření stisku rukou, zraková ostrost, barvocit, schopnost prostorového vidění, manuální zručnost, technická a prostorová představivost. Výsledky mj. ukázaly velmi uspokojivé hodnoty, které se objevily například při vyšetření zrakové ostrosti a prostorové představivosti, kdy se v obou případech zařadilo 17 z 35 probandů v nejlepších kategoriích, a to nadprůměrný a velmi dobrý. Dále například při měření tělesné výšky probandů bylo zjištěno, že mužská část probandů má v průměru o 11 centimetrů více než ženská část. Z celkového počtu 35 probandů se 17 probandů z obou pohlaví dohromady zařadilo do kategorie nadprůměrný.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to analyse the physical and mental predispositions of future foresters based on data obtained from probands. Subsequent processing and evaluation allowed theoretical recommendations for future employment of probands in the forestry field and the identification of which predispositions are good to have for the profession. In order to obtain the data, forestry students were measured. A total of 41 probands took part in the research and were subjected to the given examinations and measurements of anthropometric data such as body weight, height, BMI, Broc's index, according to the ethical point of view. Furthermore, measurements of handshake, visual acuity, colorvocity, spatial vision ability, manual dexterity, technical and spatial imagination. The results showed, among others, very satisfactory values that appeared, for example, in the examination of visual acuity and spatial imagination, where in both cases 17 out of 35 probands ranked in the best categories, namely above average and very good. Furthermore, for example, when measuring the body height of the probands, it was found that the male probands were on average 11 centimetres taller than the female probands.Out of a total of 35 probands, 17 of both sexes together were categorized as above average.
