The Transports from Terezin to Auschwitz
Abstract:
Obsahem této práce je popsat všechny transporty z terezínského ghetta do Osvětimi-Birkenau mezi zářím 1943 a květnem 1944. Transportní vlny byly v tomto období internovány do tzv. terezínského rodinného tábora. Příčinou transportů bylo nucené snížení počtu českých obyvatel terezínského ghetta za účelem zkrášlení Terezína a zlikvidování možného vzniku vzpoury českých vězňů. Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to describe all transports from Terezin Ghetto to Osvetim-Birkenau from September 1943 to May 1944. In this period the transportation groups were interned to so-called Terezin family camp. The cause of transports was forced reduction of number of Czech inhabitants of Terezin ghetto in order to beautify Terezin and to liquidate a possible rise of revolt of Czech prisoners. …more
