Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem práce bylo retrospektivně analyzovat výskyt pádu pacientů v Sdruženém zdravotnickém zařízení (SZZ) Krnov za období pěti let (2011-2015). Metodika: Do sledovaného souboru byly zařazeny všechny odevzdané záznamové formuláře Protokol o mimořádné události pacientů hospitalizovaných v SZZ Krnov, kteří v daném časovém období upadli. Konečný soubor tvořil 412 záznamů o pádu. Pro popis souboru byla použita popisná statistika, k vyhodnocení hypotéz byl použít Pearsonův chí-kvadrát test a pro analýzu středního věku byl použit neparametrický - Wilcoxonův test. Statistické testy byly hodnoceny na hladině významnosti 5 %. Získaná data byla zpracovaná v statistickém programu STATA verze 13. Výsledky: Statistickým zpracováním dat bylo zjištěno, že věk pacienta má vliv na výskyt pádu. Největší výskyt pádu byl zaznamenán ve věkové kategorii 80 až 89 let. Nebyl potvrzen statisticky významný rozdíl ve výskytu pádu mezi ženami a muži. Bylo zjištěno, že průměrný věk mužů, kteří upadli, byl 70,4 let a u žen 76 let. Ženy, které upadly, byly významně starší. Na odděleních dlouhodobé péče bylo zaznamenáno více pádu a byl zde potvrzen statisticky významný rozdíl. Při zkoumání časových intervalů, jsme došli ke zjištění, že nejvíce pádů bylo zaznamenáno v časovém intervalu mezi 20 a 24 hodinou (20 %). Roční období nemá vliv na výskyt pádu. Místo, kde k pádům dochází nejčastěji, byl pokoj pacienta (71 %). Zjistili jsme, že není rozdíl ve výskytu zranění a věkem pacienta. Průměrný věk pacientů, kteří upadli a měli poranění, byl 74,9 let a u pacientů, kteří upadli, a ke zranění nedošlo, byl 72,8 let. Závěr: Pády pacientů přestavují pro zdravotnické zařízení nežádoucí událost a je nutno tomuto problému věnovat pozornost. Různými preventivními opatřeními a zásahy je možno výskyt pádu redukovat a připravit pro pacienty bezpečné prostředí, které nabízí tu nejkvalitnější péči. Pády mohou být příčinou komplikací, které mohou starému člověku nejenom znesnadnit, ale i ukrátit život.

Abstract:

Objective: The aim of work is to retrospectively analyze the occurrence of the fall of patients in the Krnov SZZ during a five year period between (2011-2015). Methodology: All registration forms are in this file: Reports of extraordinary events were included consisting of records of patients hospitalized in SZZ Krnov who fell during the given time period. The final file consists of 412 incidents of this. Statistics were used to describe the file, a pearson chi-quadrate test was used to evaluate hypotheses, and a non-parametric the Wilcoxon test - was used for middle age analysis. Statistical tests were evaluated at a 5% significance level. The data obtained was processed in the STATA statistical program version 13. Results: By processing the statistical data it was revealed that the age of the patient influences the occurrence of a fall. The greatest incidence of fall was recorded in the 80-89 age group. There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of fall between women and men. It was found that the average age of men who had fallen was 70.4 years and for women 76 years. The women who fell were significantly older. There were more falls in long-term care units and a statistically significant difference was confirmed here. When examining the time intervals, we found that most falls were recorded in the time interval between 8.00pm and 12pm(20%). Seasons of the year do not affect the fall. A patient's room (71%) as the place where the falls occurred most frequently. We found out that there was no difference in the occurrence of injuries and age groups. The average age of patients who fell and were injured was 74.9 years and the patients who had fallen but were not injured were 72.8 years. Conclusion: Patient's falls represent an adverse event for the healthcare facility and attention should be paid to this problem. By different preventive measures and interventions, the occurrence of a fall can be reduced. A safe environment for the patients and the highest quality care should be available to them. Falls can be the cause of complications for elderly people but also shorten their life.
