Abstract:
Předkládaná bakalářská práce „Kultura hudby v myšlení Rogera Scrutona: tonalita a hudební kritika“ sestává ze tří částí. První se zabývá Scrutonovou teorií tonality, fundamentem jeho hudební filozofie. Následně se práce zaměřuje na Scrutonovu kritiku současné hudební scény. Závěr je věnován polemice mezi Scrutonem a Adornem a objasnění jejich rozdílných kritických hledisek.
Abstract:
The present BA thesis „The Culture of Music in thought of Roger Scruton: Tonality and Music Criticism“ contains three parts. The first part deals with Roger Scruton´s theory of tonality, which is fundamental to his philosophy of music. Subsequently the paper aims on Scruton´s criticism of contemporary music scene.
