Moravian Brethren in Germany or the Herrnhut Phenomenon, Yesterday and Today
Abstract:
This bachelor work talks about German speaking Moravians, who ran away from the religious persecution to Germany. They left their country to freely confess their faith and keep the traditions of the Unity of the Brethern there. In 1722 Moravians, with the help of Count Zinzendorf, founded settlement Hernhut. Tato práce pojednává o německy mluvících Moravanech, kteří uprchli před náboţenským pronásledováním do Německa, aby zde mohli svobodně vyznávat svou víru a tradici staré Jednoty bratrské. V roce 1722 zaloţili Moravané s pomocí hraběte Ludvíka Zinzendorfa osadu Herrnhut. Práce si kladla za cíl popsat rozvoj Herrnhutské osady a bratrského sboru v letech 1722-1736, a srovnat tento bratrský sbor s dnešním …more
