Prenatal communication by drawing

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis explores the prenatal communication using drawing, its influence and application in communication with a prenatal child. The theoretical part informs the reader about pregnancy and the stages of development of the fetus the main area of focus being its senses and perception. This part also stresses the importance of responsible parenting and the influence of prenatal communication that has been explored by prenatal psychology. This thesis also addresses the benefits of automatic drawing – art therapy namely its description the importance of colors and shapes and its application. The practical part aims to assess the benefits of automatic drawing in prenatal communication. It studies the benefits of automatic drawing to the relationship of the mother with her unborn child in attempts to improve the prenatal communication and to intensify the experience of pregnancy. The method that was used to acquire the necessary data was semi-structured interviews with women who have completed the prenatal communication using drawing course.

Abstract:

Predkladaná teoreticko – praktická bakalárska práca sa zaoberá prenatálnou komunikáciou kresbou, jej vplyvom a využitím v komunikácii s prenatálnym dieťaťom. V teoretickej časti je čitateľ oboznámený s tehotenstvom, s jednotlivými štádiami vývoja plodu so zameraním na jeho zmysly a vnímanie. Je tu poukázané na dôležitú a zodpovednú rolu rodiča a na vplyv prenatálnej komunikácie, ktorej sa venuje prenatálna psychológia. Ďalej sa práca venuje automatickej kresbe - arteterapii, jej popisu, významu farieb, tvarov a využitiu. Praktická časť sa zameriava na zhodnotenie prínosu techniky automatickej kresby v prenatálnej komunikácii. Skúma prínos automatickej kresby vo vzťahu matky s nenarodeným dieťaťom v rámci posilnenia prenatálnej komunikácie a k intenzívnejšiemu prežívaniu tehotenstva. Dáta, z ktorých boli vyhodnocované výsledky, boli získané pomocou pološtrukturovaných pološtruktúrovaných rozhovorov so ženami, ktoré absolvovali kurz prenatálnej komunikácie kresbou.
