Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá shromážděním a popisem původních tetovacích technik a používaných nástrojů z vybraných regionů po celém světě. Přibližuje problematiku tetování nejen z technického hlediska, ale mnohokrát explikuje jeho motivaci a psychologické pozadí.
