Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce „Boj bank proti praní špinavých peněz“ se zabývá problematikou boje proti praní špinavých peněz v bankovním sektoru. Uvádí definici pojmu praní špinavých peněz, dále poukazuje na vztah a postupy, které banky proti boji používají a v neposlední řadě se snaží navrhnout zlepšení v této oblasti. V první časti je uvedena definice a průběh celého procesu praní špinavých peněz. Druhá část se zabývá právní úpravou a institucionálním zabezpečením praní špinavých peněz, jak na půdě České republiky, tak v zahraničí. Třetí část autorka věnuje povinnostem a postupům, které banky v boji proti praní špinavých peněz zaujímají. Druhá polovina poslední části analyzuje přímý postup mé vybrané banky. Na závěr je zhodnocení práce a mé doporučení bankám.

Abstract:

This thesis "Banks Fight against Money Laundering" deals with the issue of struggling the money laundering in the banking sector. It states the definition of money laundering, highlights the relationship and practices that banks use to figur it and last but not least it tries to suggest improvements in this area. In the first part of the thesis the definition and the entire process of money laundering is stated. The second part deals with legislation and institutional security of money laundering, both in the Czech Republic and abroad. In the third part the author deals with the obligations and procedures that banks apply in the fight against money laundering. The second half of the last part analyzes the direct approach of a chosen bank. The conclusion of the thesis evaluates the work and gives the recommendations to banks.
