The master's thesis deals primarily with the examination of the judicial practice of punishing prostitution in Czechoslovakia in the years 1948-1960. It reflects the approach of dealing with prostitution as a social problem by the newly established re-gime, after the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia took power.
