Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá historickým vývojom ortoptiky. V úvodnej časti je charakterizovaný a definovaný termín ortoptika, aké prístroje sa využívajú pri liečbe a čo je jej cieľom. Následne je v ďalších kapitolách spracovaný prehľad jednotlivých období, vývoju ortoptiky v Českej republike a taktiež významné osobnosti, ktoré sa touto problematikou zaoberali.
