Idiopathic scoliosis and possibilities of its therapy

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na možnosti konzervativní léčby u diagnózy idiopatická skolióza. Úvodní část práce se zabývá rešerší poznatků z oblasti anatomie a kineziologie páteře. Jednotlivé kapitoly popisují páteř jako celek. Soustředí se v nich na podrobnější popis segmentů páteře a ontogenetický vývoj. Dále je rozebrána pohyblivost a fyziologické zakřivení páteře. Následuje vysvětlení problematiky skolióz. Definice a náhled na skoliózu je vyčteno z několika odborných publikací. Jednotlivé kapitoly zahrnují klasifikování skolióz a možnosti vyšetřovacích metodik. Teoretická část obsahuje možnosti konzervativní léčby. Pro léčbu skoliózy je známé Klappovo lezení, dále dynamická neuromuskulární stabilizace podle prof. Koláře, Vojtova reflexní lokomoce podle prof. Vojty, proprioceptivní neuromuskulární facilitace, senzomotorická stimulace, dále také metoda Ludmily Mojžíšové a taping. V rámci další terapeutické intervence je vybrána jóga. Jóga představuje alternativní techniku, která využívá správných pohybových vzorců zlepšující celkovou mobilitu jednotlivých pohybových segmentů. V praktické části jsou uvedeny dvě kazuistiky pacientek dospělého věku. Praktická část obsahuje kineziologické vyšetření, individuálně zvolenou kinezioterapii a následně vyhodnocení celkového stavu pacienta po terapii. Důvodem výběru tématu léčby idiopatické skoliózy se zaměřením na konzervativní metody je můj osobní zájem o danou problematiku. Vzhledem k rizikové operační léčbě skolióz, by se na léčbu konzervativní, na léčbu pohybem a na schopnost korigovat své tělo, měl brát zřetel.

Abstract:

The work is focused on the possibilities of conservative treatment in the diagnosis of idiopathic scoliosis. The introduction of the thesis deals with the research of knowledge in the field of anatomy and kinesiology of the spine. The individual chapters describe the spine as a whole. They focus on a more detailed description of the segments of the spine and ontogenetic development. Next, the mobility and physiological curvature of the spine are disassembled. The following is an explanation of the issue of scoliosis. The definition and view of scoliosis is read from several professional publications. Individual chapters include the classification of scoliosis and the possibilities of examination methodologies. The theoretical part contains options for conservative treatment. For the treatment of scoliosis, Klapp climbing is known, as well as dynamic neuromuscular stabilization according to prof. Kolář, Vojta reflex locomotion according to prof. Vojta, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, sensomotor stimulation, as well as ludmila Mojžíšová's method and taping. As part of another therapeutic intervention, yoga is selected. Yoga is an alternative technique that uses correct movement patterns to improve the overall mobility of individual movement segments. In the practical part there are two case reports of adult patients. The practical part includes kinesiological examination, individually selected kinesiotherapy and subsequent evaluation of the general condition of the patient after therapy. The reason for choosing the topic of treatment of idiopathic scoliosis with a focus on conservative methods is my personal interest in the issue. Due to the risky surgical treatment of scoliosis, conservative treatment, movement treatment and the ability to correct your body should be taken into account.
