Life with a stoma

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na zjištění, jak žijí pacienti po založení stomie. Teoretickou část jsem rozdělila na tři části, první část popisuje anatomii a fyziologii trávicího traktu, druhá část je zaměřena na stomie, onemocnění vedoucí k založení stomie, historii, stomické pomůcky, komplikace stomií, práci stoma sestry a třetí část se věnuje následnému životu se stomií. V praktické části jsem si stanovila cíle práce, vyhodnotila zjištěné údaje. Šetření bylo realizo-váno pomocí dotazníkové metody. Výzkumným šetření byla snaha zjistit informovanost klientů před a po operaci se založením stomie, dále zjištění postavení a důležitosti stoma sestry pro klienty a ochota klientů registrovat se ve stoma klubech. Analýzou výzkumného šetření byly zmapovány tyto informace a výsledky jsou uvedeny v závěru této práce.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis is focused on determination how patients live after the placement of the stoma. The theoretical part is divided into three parts. The first part describes the anatomy and physiology of the digestive tract. The second part focuses on the stoma, diseases that lead to the placing of the stoma, history, ostomy aids, stoma complications, work of stoma nurse. And the third part attends to the following life with a stoma. In the practical part I set goals of this work, I analyzed the data. The investigation was carried out by way of a questionnaire method. The research survey was effort to learn the awareness of clients before and after surgery with the placement of stoma, further findings the status and importance of stoma nurse for clients and clients' willingness to sign on stoma clubs. The information was mapped in the analysis of the research investigation and results are presented in this thesis.
