V posledních desetiletích můžeme sledovat trend privatizace bezpečnosti – soukromé společnosti začínají přebírat některé funkce armád či policejních sborů. In last few decades there is a trend of privatization of security – private companies have started to fulfill the roles traditionally reserved for army or police corps. Since 1980s privatization of prison services has emerged, especially in Anglo-Saxon countries. Recently plans for prison privatization have occured also in the Czech republic.
