The Description of Characters in Selected Novels by Karel Matěj Čapek Chod
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá postavami ve vybraných románech K. M. Čapka Choda, a to Antonín Vondrejc, Vilém Rozkoč a Řešany. Porovnává hlavní mužské charaktery a jejím cílem je nalézt společné i rozdílné prvky jednotlivých děl a zasadit je do celkového rámce tvorby Čapka Choda. Teoretickým východiskem je obecná kategorie postavy a teorie fikčních světů.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with characters of selected novels by Karel Matěj Čapek Chod, namely Antonín Vondrejc, Vilém Rozkoč and Řešany. The main male characters are compared and contrasted, and the goal of this thesis is to find both common and different features of the individual novels and to set them into the general frame of Čapek Chod's work.
