Parenting of Meth Users in the Context of Their Own Childhood Upbringing

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice drogové závislosti v souvislosti s rodičovstvím. Pojednává o pohledu žen závislých na metamfetaminu na výchovu svých dětí v kontextu výchovy, kterou v dětství prožily. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Na teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část vymezuje pojmy jako závislost, psychostimulancia, rodičovství, rodina a výchova. Dále se zaměřuje na ženskou závislost, její specifika, rizikové faktory, rodičovskou roli, výchovné styly vhodné i nevhodné. Druhá, praktická část je analýzou rozhovorů s klientkami Terénních programů ve Zlíně Společnosti Podané ruce o.p.s. Reflektuje pohled matek závislých na pervitinu na výchovu dětí v souvislosti s vlastním dětstvím. Cílem práce je zmapovat osobní zkušenost matek, které dlouhodobě užívají pervitin s výchovou dětí.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issue of drug addiction in the context of parenthood. It discusses the perspective of mothers addicted to methamphetamine on the upbringing of their children in the context of the upbringing they experienced in childhood. The thesis is divided into two parts. A theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part defines concepts such as addiction, psychostimulants, parenting, family and upbringing. It also focuses on female addiction, its specifics, risk factors, parenting role, appropriate and inappropriate parenting styles. The second, practical part is an analysis of interviews with clients of the Podané ruce o.p.s. field programmes in Zlín. The aim of the thesis is to map the personal experience of mothers who use methamphetamine for a long time with raising their children.
