Manifestations of extremism in public information networks and its criminal law context

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce má za cíl seznámit čtenáře se současným pohledem na téma projevy extremismu, jakožto moderním nástrojem pro hlásání nenávisti v prostředí veřejných sítí internetu. Text je strukturován tak, aby systematicky reflektoval podstatné části, nutné pro pochopení dané problematiky, získané na základě odborných zdrojů. Úvodní kapitola zestručněnou metodou popisuje základní ideová odvětví, jejichž minimální uvědomělost je nutnou součástí znalostí pro porozumění navazujících částí. Zde je posléze kladen důraz na způsoby internetové komunikace, související s trestnou činností kybernetické kriminality, jejímž flagrantním prvkem se stlaly záštiplné projevy hlásané nenávistí motivovaných pachatelů, útočících proti demokratickému zřízení nebo osobám definovaných specifickými rysy. Vysvětlena je zde role státu a jeho limitovaná zákonná opatření, kterými tyto projevy může regulovat. V závěrečných částech je poté zaměřeno na konkrétní weby splňující požadavky extremistického jednání doplněné dalšími specifiky, odhalující důvody jejich vzniku a možnosti identifikace autora. Z praktického hlediska práce obsahuje formulaci empirických poznatků, získaných skrze vybrané internetové projevy obsahující prvky extremistického podtextu.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to acquire the reader with the current view of the topic of manifestations of extremism as a modern tool for hate manifestation in the environment of public internet networks. The text is structured in such a way that it systematically reflects the essential parts necessary for understanding the given issue, obtained on the basis of professional sources. The introductory chapter briefly describes the basic ideological branches, whose minimal awareness is a necessary part of knowledge for understanding the following parts. Here, the emphasis is put on the methods of internet communication related to cybercrime, whose flagrant element has become a hate manifestations proclaimed by the hate of motivated perpetrators, attacking the democratic system or persons defined by specific traits. The role of the state and its limited legal measures by which it can regulate these manifestations is explained too. The final sections will focus on specific web sites meeting the requirements of extremist behavior supplemented by other specifics, revealing the reasons for their formation and the possibility of identifying the author. From the practical point of view, the thesis contain the formulation of empirical knowledge gained through selected internet speeches containing elements of extremist overtones.
