Centres for Cultural and Educational Activities with a Case Study of Impuls Hradec Králové

Abstract:

Diplomová práce zkoumá jeden z kulturních fenoménů, který probíhal na území Československého státu po celé 20. století, a to kulturně-výchovnou činnost (dále KVČ). Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. V první se práce zaměřuje na definici pojmů osvětová činnost, lidová výchova a charakterizuje zásadní milníky politicko-společenského pozadí a příslušné legislativní předpisy. V II. části se práce věnuje historii KVČ na území Královéhradeckého kraje. Prostřednictvím případové studie Impuls HK práce blíže ukazuje konkrétní fungování, plnění plánů práce i hospodaření této instituce v době socialismu a okolnosti a motivace, za kterých byla pouze v regionu Hradec Králové zachována. Práce se také soustřeďuje na projekt tzv. lidové konzervatoře, která při krajském kulturním středisku vznikla v 70. letech. Ve III. části práce srovnává vybrané tuzemské kulturní a umělecké organizace. Na příkladech Slovenska a Slovinska ukazuje, jak je formována kulturní síť kulturně-výchovných zařízení v zahraničí.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis examines one of the cultural phenomena that took place in the territory of the Czechoslovak state throughout the 20th century, namely cultural and educational activity (KVC). The work is divided into three parts. In the first part, the thesis focuses on the definition of the concepts of education, folk education and characterizes the fundamental milestones of the political and social background and the relevant legislative regulations. In II. parts of the thesis are devoted to the history of KVČ in the territory of the Hradec Králové Region. Through the Impuls HK case study, the work shows the concrete functioning, implementation of the work plans and the management of this institution in the time of socialism, and the circumstances and motivations in which it was preserved only in the Hradec Králové region. The work also focuses on the project of the so-called folk conservatory, which was established at the regional cultural center in the 1970s. In III. part of the thesis compares selected local cultural and artistic organizations. On the example of Slovakia and Slovenia, it shows how a cultural network of cultural and educational institutions is formed abroad.
