The issue of VAT fraud and the impact of legislative measures on the management of business entities

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou daňových úniků na dani z přidané hodnoty a dopadem souvisejících legislativních opatření na české podnikatele. Zaměřuje se především na nástroje nové, které byly zavedeny v průběhu posledních let a na podnikatele mohly mít značný vliv. Teoretická část práce obsahuje poznatky z fungování systému DPH, formy daňových úniků a nástroje pro zajištění správné výše inkasa státního rozpočtu. Praktická část je tvořena analýzou dopadu daňových nástrojů z pohledu hospodářských subjektů, a též je vy-hodnoceno do jaké míry je takové nástroje ovlivňují. Závěr práce zahrnuje zhodnocení systému DPH a neustále se měnící legislativy s ohledem na hospodaření daňových subjektů.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of tax evasion regarding value added tax and the impact of related legislative measures on Czech entrepreneurs. It focuses primarily on the new tools that have been introduced over the last few years and could have a considerable impact on entrepreneurs. The theoretical part of the thesis contains information on the functioning of the VAT system, forms of tax evasion and tools to ensure the correct collection amount of the state budget. The practical part consists of an analysis of the impact of tax instruments from the business point of view, as well as the extent to which such instruments influence the businesses. The conclusion of the work includes an evaluation of the VAT system and the constantly changing legislation with regard to the economy of tax subjects.
