Abstract:
This thesis evaluates the application of anomaly detection to identify performance-related issues in microservices-based systems. Compared with traditional monolithic architecture, distributing the system into independently deployed microservices brings additional complexity to monitoring and observability of the system, which may also lead to further complexity of performance anomaly detection.
