Magnetic nanoparticles of Fe\dindex{3}O\dindex{4}@SiO\dindex{2} with surface functionalized by aminogroups

Abstract:

Byla provedena literární rešerše týkající se metod přípravy a charakterizace magnetických nanočástic Fe3O4 potaženého nanovrstvou oxidu křemičitého s navázanými aminoskupinami na povrchu s ohledem pro medicinální aplikace. Oxidací síranu železnatého byly připraveny hydrofilní nanočástice Fe3O4 o hydrodynamické velikosti 114 ? 59 nm. Následující sol-gel metodou tj. řízenou hydrolýzou tetraethylesteru kyseliny křemičité probíhající na povrchu částic Fe3O4 byly připraveny částice Fe3O4@SiO2 o velikosti 188 ? 36 nm. V posledním stupni syntézy byly na povrch částic Fe3O4@SiO2 reakcí s 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilnem navázány aminoskupiny odpovídající celkovému obsahu dusíku 2,21 ? 0,03%. Obsah reaktivních aminoskupin byl stanoven spektrofotometrickou metou založenou na reakci se 4-nitrobenzaldehydem s následnou hydrolýzou a odpovídá 1,22 ? 0,02 % N. Při reakci probíhající 1h byla zachována původní velikosti částic (190 ? 40 nm). Prodloužením reakční doby aminace na 3h došlo ke vzniku agregátů a k navýšení celkového obsahu dusíku na 3,75 ? 0,03%. Obsah reaktivního dusíku se však zvýšil jen nepatrně (1,30% ? 0,02%). Sférický charakter připravených částic Fe3O4@SiO2-NH2 a jejich hydrodynamická velikost je vhodná pro medicinální aplikace.

Abstract:

Was the literature review on the methods of preparation and characterization of Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles coated Nano silica with bound amino groups on the surface with respect to medical applications. Oxidation of ferrous sulfate were prepared hydrophilic nanoparticles Fe3O4 on the hydrodynamic size of 114 ? 59 nm. The following sol-gel method that is controlled hydrolysis of silicic acid tetraethylesteru ongoing on the particle surface were prepared Fe3O4 @ SiO2 particles of size 188 ? 36 nm. In the final step of the synthesis were on the surface of particles of Fe3O4 @ SiO2 reacting with 3-amino aminopropyltriethoxysilnem established corresponding to the total nitrogen content of 2,21 ? 0,03%. The content of reactive amino groups was determined spectrophotometrically based on the goal of the reaction of 4-nitrobenzaldehyde with subsequent hydrolysis and corresponds to 1,22 ? 0,02% N. The reaction progress 1h maintaining the original particle size (190 ? 40 nm). Extending the reaction time was 3h amination on the aggregate formation and increased total nitrogen content to 3,75 ? 0,03%. The content of reactive nitrogen but increased slightly (1,30% ? 0,02%). Spherical particles character prepared Fe3O4 @ SiO2-NH2 and their hydrodynamic size suitable for medical applications.
