Comparison of fairytales by different authors and their possible use in literature classes

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá porovnáním jednotlivých pohádek, jejich rozdíly a shodnými prvky. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na pohádky v obecné rovině. Věnuje se jejich definici, klasifikaci a typologii postav. Nalezneme zde různé teorie o tradování a vzniku jednotlivých pohádkových motivů. Nemalá část se také věnuje nejvýznamnějším světovým a českým sběratelům folkloru. Praktická část se zaměřuje na porovnání pohádek z různých sbírek a také jejich možného využití v hodinách literární výchovy - formou modelové hodiny.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis approaches the comparison of several fairy tales, their differences and similarities. The theoretical part is focused on fairy tales in general. It covers the definition and classification of fairy tales and the different types of characters. The theoretical part also includes several theories on storytelling and the origin of specific fairy tale motives. A considerable part covers the most significant folklore collectors, both Czech and foreign. The empirical part is focused on the comparison of fairy tales from different collections. It also includes the possible use in literary classes by presenting model lessons.
