Coaching as a Management Style

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o problematice koučování jako o významné součásti procesu řízení lidí v jakékoliv oblasti lidského působení. Úkolem teoretické části je představit koučování jako způsob, pomocí kterého lze nalézt v každé naší činnosti hlubší smysl, rozvíjet se směrem, který nás zajímá a baví. Objevit skrytý potenciál každého z nás, nejlepší možná řešení určitých situací a zrealizovat je. Zaměřit se na věci, které můžeme ovlivnit a nezabývat se těmi, které měnit nelze. Lépe se rozhodovat v pracovním i osobním životě. Aplikační část se zabývá autorskou myšlenkou koučování žáků 8. a 9. tříd základní školy, kteří se rozhodují o svém budoucím povolání a s tím souvisejícím vhodným výběrem vzdělávací instituce. Metodou dotazníkového šetření bylo zjištěno dostatečné povědomí o koučování a především zájem rodičů žáků o navrženou metodu předfiremního koučování.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with coaching as a significant part of people management process in any field of human activities. The theoretical part introduces coaching as a way with the help of which you can find deeper sense in every kind of human activity developing in the direction which is of interest for us and which we enjoy. This concept helps to discover the hidden potentials of ever person of us, the best solutions of certain situations and their implementation, it helps to focus on the things which can be influenced and not to deal with those things we cannot change, and to make better decisions both in professional and private lives. The application part deals with the author´s idea of coaching pupils of 8th and 9th forms of primary schools who undergo the process of decision about their future careers and selection of the relevant educational institution. Based on the method of a questionnaire survey sufficient awareness on coaching has been proved and, above all, the interest of the parents of students in the proposed method of pre-company stage coaching.
