Comparison of health care systems in the Czech republic and Russian Federation, 2008 - 2018

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci jsou komparovány zdravotní systémy České republiky a Ruské federace. Předmětem komparace jsou celkové výdaje na zdravotní péči, podíl veřejných a soukromých výdajů, demografické ukazatele a dostupnost zdravotní péče. V práci je využitá metoda dotazníkového šetření, která měla za úkol zjistil celkovou spokojenost Ruských občanů se zdravotním systémem v RF. Oba systémy využívají rozpočtově pojistný model financování založený na principu solidarity. Český zdravotní systém má mnohem vyšší výdaje na zdravotnictví, kde největší zdroj financování tvoří fondy povinného zdravotního pojištění, nejmenší spoluúčast na financování nesou domácnosti a ostatní soukromé zdroje, naopak v Rusku je velmi vysoká spoluúčast soukromého sektoru na financování. Téma je z národohospodářského hlediska velmi aktuální a má poskytnout přehled jak dané země s finančními prostředky v oblasti zdravotnictví hospodaří a jaké to má dopady na zdraví obyvatel.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis compares health systems in the Czech Republic and in Russian Federation. The subject of the comparison is the total expenditure on health care, the share of public and private expenditure, demographic indicators and the availability of health care. The work uses the method of a questionnaire survey, which had the task of determining the overall satisfaction of Russian citizens with the health system in Russia. Both health systems use a budget insurance model of financing based on the principle of solidarity. The Czech health care system has much higher expenditures on health care, where the largest source of funding is compulsory health insurance funds, the smallest co-financing is borne by households and other private sources, while in Russia there is a very high co-financing by private sector. The topic is very current from an economic point of view and is intended to provide an overview of how selected countries manage health care funding and what impacts this has on the health of the population.
