Comparison of glomerular filtration estimates from serum concentration of creatinine and cystatin C
Abstract:
Stanovení odhadu glomerulární filtrace je důležitou metodou sledování funkce ledvin. K jejímu vyšetření se v současné době využívá zejména výpočtových metod založených na sérových koncentracích kreatininu a cystatinu C. Cílem této bakalářské práce je porovnání dvou nejčastěji používaných vzorců vycházejících z těchto markerů. Jedná se o rovnici MDRD a rovnici dle Grubba.
Abstract:
The estimation of glomerular filtration rate is an important method of monitoring the renal function. In particular, the calculations based on serum concentrations of creatinine and cystatin C are currently used for this examination. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare the two most commonly used formulas based on these markers. That is the MDRD formula and the Grubb formula.
