The evaluation of the condition and perspectives of the new tree planting ("the linden trees of the republic")

Anotace:

Diplomová práce se zabývá zhodnocením stavu a perspektivy nových výsadeb stromů, které byly vysazeny ke 100. výročí vzniku Československé republiky a nesou označení „lípy republiky“. V rámci teoretické části byl vytvořen souhrn teoretických poznatků, které jsou vztažené k problematice výběru vhodných taxonů na stanoviště, prostorovým nárokům výsadby, k samotnému postupu výsadby a následné péči o výsadby. Praktická část se věnuje mapování a zhodnocení stavu 213 mladých výsadeb lip, které byly vysazeny v Královéhradeckém, Pardubickém, Olomouckém a Jihomoravském kraji, v letech 2017-2019. Byla vytvořena specializovaná metodika, která hodnotí stav výsadeb, jejich stanoviště a kvalitu péče. Získaná data byla následně vyhodnocena. Výsledky práce ukazují, že vysazené lípy převážně prosperují na daných stanovištích. Důvodem jsou pro lípy vhodně zvolená stanoviště a zejména kvalitní dokončovací a rozvojová péče. Tyto pozitivní faktory lze přičíst výsadnímu postavení lip republiky, které nesou status pamětních stromů.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the condition and perspectives of the new tree planting. The trees were planted on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Czechoslovak Republic and they are called "The Linden Trees of the Republic". Within the theoretical part, there is a summary of theoretical knowledge related to the issue of selecting suitable taxa for the site, spatial requirements for planting, the planting process itself and the subsequent care. The practical part focuses on mapping and evaluating the condition of 213 young linden trees planted in the regions of Hradec Králové, Pardubice, Olomouc, and South Moravia between the years 2017-2019. A specialized methodology had been developed to assess the condition of plantings, their habitats, and the care quality. The obtained data were subsequently evaluated. The results of this work show that the planted linden trees mostly flourish in their habitats. The causes are the suitably chosen habitats for linden trees and particularly the quality of final planting care and development care. These positive factors can be attributed to the privileged position of these trees since they carry the status of the memorial trees – The Linden Trees of the Republic.
