Utilization of Play Activities for Improvement of Hand Motor Skills in Children with Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem Využití hry ke zlepšení motoriky ruky u dětí s diparetickou formou dětské mozkové obrny je rozdělena na dvě části, a to teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty základní informace o hře. Podrobněji je vylíčen vývoj hry, její význam a využití v ergoterapii. Následující oddíl obsahuje základní poznatky o dětské mozkové obrně. Blíže je zde popsána etiologie onemocnění, jednotlivé formy dětské mozkové obrny a jejich klinický obraz. Dále jsou shrnuty informace o vývojové kineziologii. Praktická část bakalářské práce je věnována třem dětem s diparetickou formou dětské mozkové obrny, které navštěvují centrum Arpida, o.s. v Českých Budějovicích. K praktické části jsou přiřazeny kazuistiky klientů. Cílem je zhodnocení a interpretace informací o klientech na podkladě krátkodobého šetření a spolupráce s klienty. Poslední část práce obsahuje přílohy, v nichž jsou pro doplnění umístěny použité testy a fotodokumentace.

Abstract:

The bachelors thesis titled Utilization of Play Activities for Improvement of Hand Motor Skills in Children with Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy consists of two parts: a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part outlines basic information about the play activities. Development, significance and utilization of play activities in occupational therapy is described in detail. The subsequent section contains basic information about cerebral palsy. Causes of cerebral palsy are described in more detail together with its various forms and their clinical symptoms. An outline of developmental kinesiology is also provided. The practical part of the bachelor?s thesis focuses on three children with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy attending the Arpida center in České Budějovice. Case studies of clients are attached to the practical part. The objective is to evaluate and interpret client information on the basis of short-term investigation and cooperation with the clients. The last part of the thesis contains appendices with the tests used and photos.
