The influence of lifestyle on consumer behavior

Abstract:

Eichlerová, N. Vliv životního stylu na chování spotřebitele. Diplomová práce. Brno: Mendelova Univerzita, 2022 Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem životního stylu na chování spotřebitele. Teoretická část je zaměřena na aspekty ovlivňující kvalitu životního stylu, na biopotraviny a na spotřební chování. V praktické části byla k analýze ekonomické situace ČR a k trhu s potravinami a biopotravinami využita sekundární data. Bylo provedeno dotazníkové šetření a hloubkové rozhovory. Následně byla data vyhodnocena za pomoci statistického programu Statistica 12. S využitím shlukové analýzy byly vytvořeny 3 segmenty spotřebitelů podobného chování – aktivní přístup k životnímu stylu; pasivní přístup k životnímu stylu; negativní přístup k životnímu stylu. Podle zjištěných výsledků byly zhodnoceny rozdíly mezi danými segmenty, definovány aspekty ovlivňující kvalitu životního stylu a formulovány rozdíly mezi generacemi.

Eichlerová, N. The influence of lifestyle on consumer behavior. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2022. This diploma thesis deals with the influence of lifestyle on consumer behavior. The theoretical part is focused on aspects influencing the quality of lifestyle, on organic foods and on consumer behavior. In the practical part, secondary data were used to analyze the economic situation of the Czech Republic and the food and organic food market. A questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews were conducted. Subsequently, the data was evaluated using the statistical program Statistica 12. Using cluster analysis, 3 segments of consumers with similar behavior were created - active approach to lifestyle; passive approach to lifestyle; negative approach to lifestyle. According to the obtained results, the differences between the given segments were evaluated, the aspects affecting the quality of the lifestyle were defined and the differences between the generations were formulated.
