Internal focus of attention and risk factors associated with the risk of ACL injury in landing

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit vliv interní pozornosti při doskoku na rizikové faktory asociované s poraněním ACL u mladých žen ve věku 16 ?18 let. Teoretická část popisuje aspekty týkající se zranění ACL, mechanismy poranění a anatomii kolenního kloubu a na něj zaměření vnitřní pozornosti. Výzkum byl proveden v biomechanické laboratoři Katedry studií lidského pohybu na Ostravské univerzitě. Test byl proveden v podobě tří seskoků z bedny a snímán pomocí devíti infrakamer typu Qualysis Oqus 100. Data byly zpracovány pomocí softwaru Qualysis track manager. Byly provedeny dvě měření s intervencí 6 týdnů. Výsledky z měření byly dosazeny do obecného vzorce pro vypočtení věcné významnosti (Cohenova d) a poté zpracovány pomocí tabulek a grafů. Byly zjištěny maximální a minimální úhly v sagitální a transverzální rovině a také míra vertikální reakční síly. Z výsledků vyplývá, že 6týdenní cvičební intervence může napomoct k tvorbě preventivních programů proti zranění předního zkříženého vazu.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is determine the influence of internal attention during landing on risk factors associated with injured ACL in young women aged 16 ? 18years. The theoretical part describes aspects related to ACL injuries, mechanisms of injury and anatomy of the knee joint and the focus of internal attention on it. The research was demonstrated in the biomechanical laboratories of the Department of Human Movement studies at the University of Ostrava. The test was performed in the form of three jumps from the box and scanned using nine infrared cameras of the Qualysis Oqus 100. The data were processed using the Qualysis track manager software. Two measurements were performed with an intervention of 6 weeks. The results of the measurements were fitted into the general formula for exercise of materiality (Cohen's d) and then processed using tables and graphs. The maximum and minimum angles in the sagittal and transverse planes as well as the degree of vertical reaction force were found. The results show that a 6week exercise intervention can help create prevention programs against anterior cruciate ligament injuries.
