The thesis is concerned with the motif of revolt and non-conformity in the prose of the American author Jack Kerouac and focuses on his book entitled ?The Subterraneans?. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá motivem revolty a nonkonformismu v próze amerického spisovatele Jacka Kerouaca a zaměřuje se na jeho knihu ?Podzemníci?. Cílem této práce je analyzovat tuto knihu s přihlédnutím na ostatní autorovy knihy. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol.
