Methods of Nonlinear Analysis in Evolutionary Game Theory

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá popisem a analýzou modelu replikátorové dynamiky ve spojitém a diskrétním prostředí. Základním výsledkem je formulace diskrétní replikátorové dynamiky a následná analýza stability nelineárního dynamického systému. V diskrétním prostředí má model rozmanitější chování a bohatší kombinace stability pevných bodů než ve spojitém prostředí. Objevují se zde i oblasti s cykly a chaotickým chováním.

Abstract:

This Diploma thesis deals with description and analysis of a model of replicator dynamics in the continuous and discrete environment. The main result is a formulation of discrete replicator dynamics and analysis of stability of the corresponding nonlinear dynamic system. In the discrete environment the model has more variable behaviour and richer combinations of stability of fixed points than in the continuous environment. Also cycles and chaotic behaviour appear in the discrete environment.
