Analysis of the impact of the current financial crisis in the banking sphere in the EU and measure aimed at overcorming the crisis

Abstract:

Diplomová práce charakterizuje bankovní sféru Evropské unie a příčiny současné finanční krize. Stručně popisuje přístup k následkům krize mezinárodními organizacemi, návrhy změn ve finanční architektuře a nové instituce ve finanční sféře. Hlavní část práce představuje analýza dopadů finanční krize na Německo a Velkou Británii, především na jejich bankovní soustavy a způsoby jejich stabilizace.

Abstract:

This thesis describes the banking sector of the European Union and the causes of the current financial crisis. It briefly describes the approach to the consequences of the crisis by international organizations, proposals for changes in the financial architecture, and new institutions in the financial sector. The main part presents an analysis of the financial crisis in Germany and Great Britain, especially in the banking system and methods for their stabilization.
