Stěžejním tématem této práce je neoformalistická analýza filmu Prokletý ostrov režiséra Martina Scorseseho. Tento snímek je zvláštní nezvyklým způsobem narace, která těží ze zatajení; pro diváka naprosto zásadní; informace v příběhu. Touto informací je psychická porucha hlavního hrdiny, díky níž si může autor snímku až do posledních minut pohrávat s našimi recepčními a interpretačními schopnostmi. …more

Shutter Island is an American thriller/drama, directed by Martin Scorsese, about two US Marshals who investigate an escape of a dangerous murderer from a mental facility located on an island.
