Tato diplomová práce se zabývá přeměnou lidské siluety pomocí kostýmu.Hlavním tématem teoretické části není pouze kostým, ale i samotné lidské tělo. Nazačátku práce je zmapován pohled na tělesnost v naší historii od počátku až posoučasnost a mapujeme rovněž vliv módy na formování lidské siluety.
