The proposal of technological advancement of an implementation of the handling IT system at Pardubice Airport

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje IT systémům pro ground handling na letišti Pardubice. Analyzuje systém SITA, který je využíván v současnosti, a následně navrhuje substituci tohoto systému z důvodu jeho možného vyřazení. Jsou zde navrženy konkrétní moderní systémy, které jsou využívány v mnoha zemích světa a slouží také pro odbavování cestujících a load planning. Na základě odborného posudku a multikriteriálního rozhodování je provedeno vyhodnocení, který ze systémů je vhodnější pro použití na letišti Pardubice a následně je proveden návrh technologického postupu implementace nového systému na pardubické letiště.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with ground handling IT systems at the Pardubice Airport. It analyzes the current SITA system, and suggests its substitution due to a possible phase-out. The up-to-date systems, which are used worldwide and can also be used for passenger check-in and load planning, were proposed. Based on expert opinion and multicriteria decision making, an assessment was carried out to choose the more suitable system for the Pardubice Airport. Subsequently, a draft of the technology implementation process was elaborated.
