Abstract:

Dorňák, P. Investiční aktivita firem v kontextu měnící se ekonomicko-politické ne-jistoty. Diplomová práce. Brno: Mendelova univerzita v Brně, 2022. Tato práce zkoumá determinanty ovlivňující míru, s jakou firmy provádějí své investice. Cílem bylo identifikovat vztah mezi měnící se ekonomicko-politickou nejistotou a investiční aktivitou firem. V práci byly provedeny regresní analýzy panelových dat s využitím metody nejmenších čtverců s fixními efekty. Výsledky prokázaly, že firmy během rostoucí ekonomicko-politické nejistoty odkládají své investice na dobu, dokud se nejistota nesníží. V závěru práce jsou poskytnuta konkrétní doporučení pro tvůrce hospodářských politik ohledně nastavení nástrojů hospodářské politiky.

Dorňák, P. Investment activity of companies in the context of changing economic policy uncertainty. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2022. This thesis investigates the determinants affecting the extent to which companies are making their investments. The aim was to identify the relationship between changing economic policy uncertainty and the investment activity of companies. Regression analyses of panel data were performed using the least squares method with fixed effects. Results showed that during growing economic policy uncertainty companies are postponing their investments until uncertainty declines. In conclusion of this thesis are provided specific recommendations for economic policy makers about the setting of economic policy instruments.
