The subject of this thesis is to describe hierarchical log-linear models for two and three categorical variables. This thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. Předmětem této práce je popsat hierarchické log-lineární modely pro dvě a tři kategoriální proměnné. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je vysvětlen pojem kontingenční tabulka, poměr šancí a log-lineární model. Navíc ukazujeme, jak zvolit vhodný model, odhadnout parametry modelu a jak vyhodnotit kvalitu modelu.
