The subject of this thesis is to describe hierarchical log-linear models for two and three categorical variables. This thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the term of contingency table, odds ratio and log-linear model is explained. Předmětem této práce je popsat hierarchické log-lineární modely pro dvě a tři kategoriální proměnné. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je vysvětlen pojem kontingenční tabulka, poměr šancí a log-lineární model. Navíc ukazujeme, jak zvolit vhodný model, odhadnout parametry modelu a jak vyhodnotit kvalitu modelu.
