Bakalárska práca v úvode popisuje anatomickú a histologickú stavbu sietnice ako aj priebeh zrakovej dráhy. Ďalšia časť sa zaoberá elektrofyziológiou sietnice, elektrofyziologickými vyšetrovacími metódami v oftalmológii a ich históriou.
