Prejudices towards Homosexuality by Christian Adolescents. A Possible intervention by Teacher.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá předsudky adolescentních křesťanů vůči homosexualitě a možnostmi intervence pedagoga. Teoretická část se soustředí na odborné termíny jako jsou předsudky a postoje, jejich vznik, vývoj, sexuální orientace, homosexualita, coming out a obecné postoje církví vůči homosexualitě. V teoretické části se tato práce věnuje i tématu intervence pedagoga vůči homofobní šikaně. Empirická část je věnována kvalitativnímu výzkumu, jehož cílem bylo zjistit, jaké postoje mají dnešní adolescenti z křesťanských církví. Pro tento výzkum bylo vybráno pět respondentů ve věku 15-20 let, ze dvou křesťanských církvích. K získání výzkumných dat byla vybrána kvalitativní metoda rozhovoru. Rozhovor se skládal ze sedmi otevřených otázek, které se týkaly respondentových postojů k tématu homosexuality. Pro zjištění výsledků byla použita metoda Tematické analýzy. Většina respondentů projevovala předsudky vůči homosexualitě, které byly ovlivněny jejich vírou.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the prejudices of adolescent Christians towards homosexuality and the possibilities of pedagogical intervention. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with technical terms such as prejudice and attitude, their origin and development, sexual orientation, homosexuality, coming out and the general attitude of churches towards homosexuality. The theoretical part also deals with the topic of the pedagogue's intervention against homophobic bullying. The second part of the thesis is devoted to qualitative research, the aim of which was to find out the attitude of today's adolescents from the evangelical churches. Five respondents, aged 15-20, from two evangelical churches, were selected for this research. A qualitative interview method was chosen to obtain the research data. The interview consisted of seven open-ended questions about respondents on homosexuality. The results were determined through a thematic analysis. More than half of the respondents expressed prejudice against homosexuality, which was influenced by their faith.
