Competition of traditional and low cost airlines in terms of supply and demand for their services

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se z počátku zabývá popisem zákonitostí nabídky a poptávky. Další část popisuje trh letecké dopravy a subjekty, které se na něm vyskytují. Jádro práce tvoří analýza nabídky a poptávky klasických a nízkonákladových leteckých společností společně s jejich komparací. V závěru jsou vypočítány finančních ukazatele obou modelů aerolinek, ze kterých vychází návrh ideálního modelu letecké společnosti.

Abstract:

There is described regularity of supply and demand in the start of thesis. Next part describes market of air transport and subjects of the market. Analysis of supply and demand for traditional and low cost airlines with their comparisons forms the core of the thesis. There are calculated financial indicators of both airline models in the end of this thesis, which are used for proposal of ideal airline model.
