Abstract:

Tématem magisterské diplomové práce „Rámcový projekt implementace modelu učící knihovny na Ústřední knihovnu Filozofické fakulty Masarykovy univerzity” je koncept tzv. učící knihovny. Tento koncept se prosazuje především v prostředí amerických vysokoškolských knihoven a jeho posláním je podpora informační gramotnosti členů akademické komunity, vytváření aktivit informačního vzdělávání a začlenění knihoven do tzv. souvislé vzdělávací kultury vysokých škol. V práci jsou popsána teoretická východiska, ze kterých model čerpá, především koncepce učící se společnosti, a s ní související problematika informační gramotnosti a celoživotního učení. Na příkladech vybraných akademických knihoven v USA je ilustrována povaha učící knihovny. Podstatou práce je navržení doporučení pro aplikaci tohoto konceptu na Ústřední knihovnu Filozofické fakulty Masarykovy univerzity. Je zde vedena analýza současného stavu informačního vzdělávání v této instituci, knihovna je hodnocena z hlediska modelu učící knihovny a na závěr jsou vyvozena základní doporučení pro tvorbu koncepce implementace modelu učící knihovny v Ústřední knihovně.

Abstract:

The theme of diploma thesis “The Framing Project of the Learning Library Model Implementation to the Central Library of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University” is a concept of so-called “learning library”. This concept has been already launched namely in the settings of the U.S. American academic libraries. Its aim is to support the information literacy of the academic community members, to provide information education activities and to integrate the libraries into the seamless learning culture of colleges and universities. The thesis describes the theoretical basis on which the model is constructed. It is especially the conception of learning society and closely related problems of information literacy and lifelong learning. The character of the learning library is illustrated by examples of selected academic libraries in the U.S. The aim of the thesis is to provide the reccomendations to apply this concept to the Central Library of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University. The analysis of the contemporary situation of the information education in this institution is included; the library is measured form the point of view of the learning library model. Essential recommendations and suggestions for the formation of the learning library model implementation to the Central Library are deduced at length.
