The Broadcast of Information and the Information Storage in the Universe

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o možnostech šíření a uchování informace ve vesmíru. Dotýká se především nejdůležitějších a nejzajímavějších přirozených a antropogenních nosičů informací schopných překonávat nesmírné vzdálenosti. Text přináší detailní vhled na elektromagnetické vlnění, poodhaluje roušku reliktního záření jako nosiče nejstarší známé informace ve vesmíru, nahlíží do hypotetického světa gravitačních vln, infonů a naznačuje také jakým způsobem dokázala naše civilizace infikovat své okolí antropogenní informací, a to jak prostřednictvím elektromagnetického vlnění, tak i prostřednictvím makroskopických nosičů. Nechybí ani úvahy o podstatě informace.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis discusses problems of the broadcast of information and the information storage in the Universe. The thesis deals in particular with the most important and most interesting natural and anthropogenic carriers of information capable to transmit across vast distances. We describe in detail the electromagnetic radiation, the cosmic microwave background radiation (which carries the oldest known information in the Universe). We mention a hypothetic world of gravitational waves, infons and the capability of our civilisation to fill the surroundings by anthropogenic information (represented by electromagnetic radiation and by macroscopic carriers too). Last but not least, the thesis contains an essay about the fundamental of information.
