Web architecture of the eSports portal

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce řeší webovou architekturu portálu esportu. Teoretická část práce se zabývá analýzou esportu, výzkumnými metodami, technologiemi a nástroji spojenými s webovými stránkami. Praktická část práce je rozdělena na návrh webového portálu a jeho prověření pomocí výzkumu. K řešení byl použit kvalitativní výzkum, který pomocí metody skupinových rozhovorů řešil potřebnost webového portálu esportu a hodnotil jeho návrh. Odpovědi od respondentů byly analyzovány a vyhodnoceny. Provedeným výzkumem bylo nejen potvrzeno, že webový portal esportu je potřeba, ale bylo získáno i mnoho dalších podnětů. Stránky by tak mohly vzniknout na základech navržené architektury, která by byla doplněna o jednotlivé funkce a prvky. Výsledkem práce je, na základě v úvodu provedené analýzy esportu, návrh webového portálu esportu, který byl na základě kvalitativního výzkumu vyhodnocen jako potřebný, protože příznivcům esportu zjednoduší získávání informací.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the web architecture of the esports portal. The theoretical part consists of esports analysis, research methods, technologies and tools associated with websites. In the practical part, the work is divided into the actual design of the web portal and its verification using research. Qualitative research was used to solve the problem, which, using the method of group interviews, solved the need for an esports web portal and evaluated its proposal. The responses from the respondents were analyzed and evaluated. Through the conducted research, it was not only confirmed that an esports web portal is needed, but many other stimuli were also obtained. Pages could thus be created on the basis of the proposed architecture, which would be supplemented with individual functions and elements. The result of the work is, based on the analysis of esports carried out in the introduction, the proposal of an esport web portal, which was evaluated as necessary based on qualitative research, because it will make it easier for esport fans to obtain information.
