Activation programme for seniors using the context of countryside

Abstract:

Se stárnutím populace se zvyšuje počet seniorů odkázaných na pomoc druhých. Při péči je třeba dbát nejen na zachování fyzických potřeb, ale i na celkovou spokojenost klienta. Jedním z nástrojů ke zlepšení fyzického a psychického stavu seniora je aktivizace. Cílem této bakalářské práce je popis vybraného aktivizačního programu pro seniory a jeho zhodnocení na základě evaluačního šetření s využitím kombinace evaluačních technik. Teoretická část se zabývá porovnáním stárnutí a stáří na venkově a ve městě. Vymezuje téma aktivizace seniorů, druhy terapií, důležitost aktivizace pro cílovou skupinu, a to v kontextu venkovského prostředí. Praktická část popisuje aktivizační program Mobilní salaš a kritické zhodnocení jeho efektu vzhledem k cílům aktivizačního programu. Výstupy evaluačního šetření v podobě zpětné vazby přímo od uživatelů služby budou poskytnuty autorce aktivizačního programu k dalšímu využití při práci na jeho rozvoji. Získá cenný materiál, který ji seřadí jednotlivé části programu podle úspěšnosti, ze kterého lze odvodit oblíbenost jednotlivých aktivit a použitých druhů terapií. Současně bude upozorněna na případná úskalí programu.

Abstract:

With aging of population the number of seniors dependent on the help of others increases. At care it is necessary to deal not only with the idea of preservation of physical needs but also with the general satisfaction of each client. One of the tools to the improvement of physical as well as psychical health is activation. The aim of the bachelor work is description of a chosen activation programme for the seniors and its evaluation on the basis of evaluation while using the combination of evaluating techniques. The theoretical part deals with the comparison of aging and old age in a countryside and a town. It defines the topic of senior activation, the types of therapies, the importance of activation for a target group in the context of the countryside. The practical part deals with the description of the programme of Mobile chalet and critical evaluation of its effect to the aims of activation programme. Outputs of the evaluation in the form of feedback from the clients will be provided to the author of the activation programme for further use at work on its development. The author will obtain valuable material which will rank individual parts of the programme according to success, which will enable to deduce the attractivity of specific activities and the used types of therapies. At the same time the attention of the author will be drawn to the possible difficulties of the programme.
