Efficient Market Theory and Behavioral Finance Theory in Practice

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na problematiku finančních trhů, které jsou v kontextu se současnou situací ve finanční sféře aktuální tématikou. Na finanční trhy se zaměřujeme prostřednictvím dvou finančních teorií, které se snaží co nejobjektivněji popsat a vysvětlit chování trhů. Práce je rozčleněna na tři části, kdy v první části si charakterizujeme Teorii efektivních trhů a Behaviorální finanční teorii, které budeme vzájemně komparovat. Ve druhé části se zabýváme problematikou reálných finančních trhů, jejich členěním a situacemi, se kterými se můžeme na trzích reálně setkat. Poznatky z prvních dvou částí práce budou využity v poslední, třetí části práce. Závěrečná část se zabývá analýzou náhodného vzorku cenných papírů a trhu, na kterém jsou obchodovány. Analýza je provedena s maximálním smyslem pro objektivitu, kdy je prováděna jak bez ohledu na rizika, tak i se zohledněním rizikového faktoru. Závěrem se v práci zabýváme samotným člověkem, respektive jeho chováním a vlivu na tržní efektivitu.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the issues of financial markets, which are in the context of the current situation in the financial sphere with it`s actual topics. We were focused on the financial markets through two financial theories which try to describe and explain the behavior of markets as objectively as possible. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part is characterized the Theory of Efficient Markets and Behavioral Financial Theory, which are mutually compared . In the second part we tried to deal with the real problems of financial markets and with their classification and some situations what we can realistically meet on the markets. Findings from the first two parts of the thesis is used in the last part of the thesis. The final section is dealing with the analysis of a random sample of securities and with the market where they are traded. The analysis is performed with a maximum sense of objectivity which is performed regardless risks as well as with the risk factor. Finally the work is dealing with people themself, or man`s behavior and impact on efficiency of market.
