Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice onemocnění diabetes mellitus ve stáří. Práce je rozdělena do dvou celků. V první část je se zaměřena na základní teoretické poznatky o tomto onemocnění, na specifika diabetu ve stáří a dále na chronické komplikace diabetu. My thesis is about diabetes mellitus in elderly patients. The work is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on the current theoretical knowledge about this disease, on the specifics of diabetes in the elderly, and on the possible chronic complications of diabetes.
