Tu fui ego eris: The Legend of the Three Living and the Three Dead
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá vyhledáváním a analýzou středověké legendy O třech živých a třech mrtvých, jejíž kořeny sahají až do starověku. Čerpá z různých textových pramenů, fresek či ilustrací a částečně z exempel od 14. století. Zohledňuje dobový přístup ke smrti a mrtvým, kteří se vracejí (revenanti) a srovnává jej s dnešním protichůdným postojem.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with searching and analysing medieval legend of the Three living and the Three dead, which has roots even in ancient times. It’s based on different texts, frescoes, illustrations and partly on examples from 14th century. Thesis accounts contemporary attitude to death and dead which reappear (the revenants) and compares it with present opposite view.
