The Massacre of the Jewish Population in Jedwabne and its Depictions in Modern Literature, Film and Drama
Abstract:
Bakalářská diplomová práce nese název Masakr Židů v Jedwabném a jeho znázornění v současné literatuře, filmu a divadle. Ve své práci se zabývám různými možnostmi zobrazení masakru v Jedwabném. Přibližuji knihu Anny Bikont My z Jedwabneho, film režiséra Pasikowského Pokłosie a také hru Nasza kłasa od Słobodzianka.
Abstract:
The title of the bachelor thesis is The Massacre of the Jewish Population in Jedwabne and its Depictions in Modern Literature, Film and Drama. In my thesis I concern with different possibilities of depictions of the massacre in Jedwabne. I outline Anna Bikont‘s book My z Jedwabneho, Pasikowski’s film Poklosie and also Słobodzianek‘s play Nasza klasa.
