This bachelor thesis deals with often overlooked humour in works of Edgar Allan Poe. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to point out this humour, classify it and supply the needed context. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá často opomíjeným humorem v dílech Edgara Allana Poea. Cílem této práce je poukázat na tento humor, klasifikovat jej a osvětlit potřebný kontext.
