Abstract:
Cílem práce je seznámit čtenáře s pilotními úlohami, představit mu základní vlastnosti systémů implementujících pilotní úlohy a poskytnout mu představu o tom, co mu pilotní úlohy můžou nabídnout. Součástí je i detailnější popis systémů DIANE, Falkon a Nimbus a řešení konkrétního případu užití pilotních úloh DIANE v české národní gridové infrastruktuře MetaCentrum.
Abstract:
The aim of this work is to introduce pilot jobs paradigm, describe its significant features and give the reader some ideas of how using pilot jobs can be beneficial in his or her case. This work also includes deeper description of DIANE, Falkon and Nimbus pilot jobs implementations and a description of deployment of DIANE framework in the Czech national Grid infrastructure MetaCentrum.
